Manav Jyot Public Charitable Trust was established in Mumbai in 1989 by
Sri Kulinkant C. Luthia, a CA by profession, to provide Medical and other aids to people in need.
After climbing one great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb and conquer. Social activities of the trust began to grow & spread gradually in various fields. The subsequent years saw the initiation of a host of projects in the fields of Education, Environment, Health-Care, Disaster & Crisis Management, Housing in Tribal Areas & Women Empowerment.
It’s a matter of some pride that our efforts since inception have brought back smiles on millions of faces. But there are more wounds to be healed and more lives to be nurtured.
We have chosen to repair a distressed world and it is not a challenging task that can be met with, within a stipulated period, but it is a constant journey, a journey of a lifetime.
